This was my second time at this restaurant tonight and the food was once again absolutely gorgeous. For our entree, my partner and I had the scallop boudin blanc and kingfish carpaccio. The boudin was amazing as I’ve never had anything like it, and the flavors in the carpaccio were well balanced. For mains, I had the wagyu brisket which was meltingly tender, and my partner had the half duck, which came with pickled cabbage and shallot blinis. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice and modern with a well stocked bar, draught beer, and an extensive wine selection. The service was great too as the waitresses were attentive and friendly. Our drinks didn’t take long to arrive and they were prompt in clearing our plates once our courses were finished. This restaurant may be relatively new but their food is definitely a winner and they deserve to be one of the top in Avalon.
