About Sandgate Post Office Hotel

One of Queensland's first post offices, this two-storey building was built in 1886 and while many decades have passed, the venue's beauty and attraction still bring Sandgate locals and visitors through the door. Careful integration of the hotel's original aesthetic with modern functionality has resulted in an exciting bar and grill, where the menu serves up a carnivore's dream featuring top-quality meat, alongside vegetarian and vegan options. Wonderful High Tea
Went to the first High Tea Sunday for 2022 and loved it. Service and atmosphere was great with delicious food and plenty of it. Great value for money and would definitely recommend.
Good ambience, great food, great staff
Great service, friendly and attentive, they were busy so we had to wait, that is not an issue when they let you know and follow up, they did. we had a mixture of entrees as a meal and it was all excellent, tasty and value for money, thanks
Amazing venue and staff
We held a function at the Sandgate Post Office Hotel and to say it was amazing is an understatement. The food was top quality, nothing we wanted was too much trouble, they made everything super easy and the bar tender made us the best cocktails all night. Everyone commented about how beautiful and fantastic it was. I highly recommend anyone needing a venue book here.
