Fantastic Italian dinner
I had a beautiful dinner with my partner, service was great! Each dish was delicious and satisfying, we couldn’t fault anything! We loved the signature risotto with quail and beef pappardelle !
Great cocktails and spritz too. Would highly recommended this Italian restaurant in Balmain.

Exceptional Food and freshness
Never tasted such a great risotto! Beautiful flavours and presentation. Service was excellent, and very welcomy.
The desserts were also very delicious and a great finish to a romantic dinner. Romantic atmosphere!

Best Italian Restaurant in whole Sydney
Great tasty authentic food, nothing like other fake “Italian “ restaurant serving their red “Napoletana sauce for top dollars . This is true gem and the owner knows how to cook really excellent fresh food. Fresh seafood, big size servings and great price!! Would definitely recommend this place!
We really enjoyed the risotto with quail, squid ink linguine with crab, and half lobster with gnocchi YUM! Service and atmosphere are also beautiful :) Thanks to all the staff for the great night!

Wonderful Italian experience/ food
Lovely Italian restaurant! The pastas and meats are all divine ! We had such a great meal here and the service was very friendly and attentive to our table.
The starter like zucchini flowers, meatballs and mussels with homemade focaccia were delicious. We had 5 different pastas and risotto, all great portions and real flavours!
The wine selection is extensive with some very good Italian wines! Our new favourite.
Very good value for money, we are back every week, GraZie !!

A little gem, Most loved by the family !
Highly recommended Italian restaurant in Balmain! Very great selection of pasta, interesting wine list and has our favourite Chianti! The best for us are the seafood pastas, beef fillet steak, barramundi and the zucchini flowers, yum!
All the dishes are freshly cooked, book your spot as sometimes it gets really busy.
Desserts are delicious too! The service is fantastic and the ambiance is superb. Special thanks to the chef which does an incredible job :)

Great night out in this little restaurant, look out for the stairs from Darling street!
Don’t miss out to have a real taste of hand-made Italian pastas. We really enjoyed the seafood pastas as well the crab ravioli with crustaceans sauce. All was sublime and dessert was so fresh and light. We highly recommend this Italian restaurant who is looking for quality and good price. Definitely coming back.

Great little Italian restaurant, very nice add to Balmain! The entrees were so tasty especially the zucchini flowers! The pasta pappardelle with lamb and the ravioli crab were very delicious and nicely presented. The salad had a nice dressing and presentation, Service was attentive and friendly
Will be back, Highly recommended the tiramisu and lemon cremino. Great price and portions compare to other restaurants, will be back soon.

Simo’s Kitchen is a gem! From the moment you walk in, you feel like you've been transported to Italy. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal.
The food is amazing. The chefs clearly know what they're doing – every dish is crafted with care. The ravioli and gnocchi are perfect, fresh and delicious. You can tell they use top-quality ingredients.
The wine list is impressive too. There’s a great selection of Italian wines, and the staff is really helpful if you need a recommendation.
What really stands out is the food level and desserts. Extensive menu ready to delight any tastebud. Everyone is so friendly and attentive, making sure you have a great dining experience.
If you’re looking for authentic Italian food and a warm, welcoming vibe, Simo’s is the place to go. I can’t recommend it enough!

Sublime Italian pastas and gnocchi
Great spot for authentic Italian food! we were a group of 5 people and we ordered few different dishes and they were all delicious. Tasty, well presented and good value for money and portions. The risotto with ossobuco was divine, other highlights were the linguine with crab and gnocchi with half lobster. nice selection of wine and spritz, and mouthwatering desserts. Warm atmosphere and nice music. service was attentive and we had a great night! will be back soon !

Best Italian Restaurant in Sydney
We had an amazing night at simos kitchen, the place was packed and the food was delicious and tasty. Pastas and gnocchi were so good. Big credit to the chef doing everything on his own in a small tiny kitchen. Service staff was busy but efficient and attentive.
Desserts are sublime too. Value for money and nice portions.
Extensive selection of spritz, great wines too .
Highly recommended, will be back soon!

Great Italian Restaurant in Balmain
We dine here for a special occasion and was really surprised with such a n incredible high level of freshness and ingredients used. Good price and portions! The highlights for us were the gnocchi and the scoglio pasta with squid ink linguine. The dessert zabaglione was made by the order and the tiramisu’ was the best I ever had. Very good balanced flavours! Our new fav restaurant in the area!
The service was knowledgeable and efficient. Ambience is very cozy and relaxing
