Northern Thai Bbq cooked Over Red Gum
Songbird - formally Restuarant Igni has been transformed with former kitchen/floor staff into its new version called Songbird Thai Bbq. Focusing but limited to cusine from Northern Thailand, staples such as Gai Yang, Moo Yang, Goong Pao and Sai Oua are all cooked over a Red Gum fire in full view of the dinners. Excellent service, great menu options inclusive of small or large feed me chefs menu, plus a la carte coupled with a extensive wine and revolving cocktail list, Songbird is a must if dining in Geelong and well worth the drive up from Melbourne. 12/10
