The Best food around
Been there numerous times and will continue to do so. The food just keeps getting better and better. A beautiful setting and really funky decor. Their oysters come From a reticulated saltwater tank and shucked fresh to order. Hands down the best I’ve ever had. Awesome sashimi and lots of flavourful man I share plates. I’ve also snuck in for a few dumplings on a sat or Sunday lunch for Yum Cha.

We had lunch at Steam on Sat. We all shared plates of housemade dumplings, vegetarian spring rolls followed by panko crumbed rockling, bbq pork and pak choy and nasi goreng. We followed this with the lime and coconut cream tart. All came with just the right amount of time between courses.Every course spot on staff and chef very friendly and helpful .This was our first visit but definitely not our last(there are a lot more things on the menu I need to try) If you like asian food try Steam

Hey, it was summer school holidays but this place was booked out on a Wednesday night. They found us a place at the bar and we had great service and the food and wine were out of this world. A great experience.

This is the restaurant we have been waiting for to open up nearby! The food is sensational! It melts in your mouth, the flavours are fresh and intense and intriguing. We shared seven dishes which included the fresh sashimi, seared tuna, beef tataki, chinese dumplings, tempura prawns, scallops, and the soft shell crab. We ordered the items two at a time and within ten minutes of ordering the first dish would arrive, once we had finished that the next dish would arrive minutes later. The staff never allowed a waterglass in the place to get empty which is a feat in itself as the restaurant was jam packed and there were multiple sittings per table. The tables are close together which canbe off-putting but we found ourselves eyeing off the dishes the neighbouring tables had and ordering them and then even striking up conversations with the neighbours which was really nice. We never felt rushed but were also never left waiting. The expense of having a special tank for the oysters shows how dedicated they are to having a fresh menu. Our bill came to $140.00 which included seven dishes of various sizes and four alcoholic drinks which I find incredibly reasonable. I wouldnt be surprised to see this restaurant with a chefs hat sometime soon.
