About The Brisbane Hotel
Oozing community cool, The Brisbane Hotel on Beaufort Street is a hip haven for a tipple and bite to eat for Highgate locals. A previously decaying old icon has been transformed into a bustling and vibrant venue without losing any of its pub values, with contemporary surrounds of exposed brick, timber furniture and potted greenery exuding a chilled out vibe. On balmy days, dine alfresco under market umbrellas while listening to the gurgling water features and peruse a Mod Oz menu with share plate starters such as beef tartare, capers, cornichon and Dijon; before mains like pork belly, pumpkin, smoked almonds, burnt butter and spring onions. Pasta lovers can twirl a fork around spaghetti with crab, chilli, capers and tomato; while pizza choices include buffalo mozzarella, tomato and basil.

Game Day
Great pub, great location but fix up your staffing issues. You shouldn't have to wait over 15 minutes to get a beer because the single bar staff was taking food orders, making coffees and mixing cocktails. A big 6 stars to the young fella on bar today.
