Public Bar is just what Canberra needs, great vibe, really nice fit out, the food is amazing and the staff are the best staff i've ever encountered, they should be given an award. Service was nice and quick too.
I had the sashimi plate and it was super fresh and so tasty, my eye fillet steak was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend this place.
Public Bar has brought life to Manuka. It has a beautiful history to the design and a such a fantastic wine menu! They make amazing cocktails that I have not seen in other bars around Canberra. The music was chilled and the crowd was good. Am unsure what the other review meant by dress code? I know there is a dress code after 8pm? but we were there friday afternoon and sunday evening in work attire and weekend clothes which consisted of jeans/thongs and we were not the only ones! The staff were fantastic and friendly, was reasonably quick service considering that the place was full on friday! I will be going back for sure! Graet food, great atmosphere and great crowd!
