Absolutely love going here! Been a regular visitor since my sons wedding 4 years ago. An amazing wedding, and never been disappointed with any visit back. Food is fantastic, as are the friendly accommodating staff. Highly recommend!!!

Every time we come and bring friends, either local or international they are amazed by the quality, presentation, venue and service.

Christmas at Veraison was excellent and almost magical! As always, the food was great and so exceptionally presented but let's also remember the staff who made the day so special. Thanks again!

A group of 8 of us celebrated a 41st Birthday here and all of us really enjoyed the food, wine and service. It was professional and not 'stuffy' as some restaurants with this quality of food. Has a change table for babies too!

We were there on a cold, sunny winter's day, and were warm and comfortable, while enjoying sensational food, delightful ambience, and lovely views of the vineyard. Chef Mark uses some unusual ingredients imaginatively and tastefully combined. Superb haute cuisine, beautifully presented. Cherie's knowledge of wine and gracious, attentive service is exemplary. Nothing is too much trouble. The wines are excellent too. If we want to take special guests or overseas visitors somewhere for consistently delicious food and wine, we would chose Veraison every time as a showplace of great Australian cuisine.

What an amazing find for us visitors from the UK! Our hosts, Jill and Steve, insisted on taking us to experience the wonderful food, wine, views and ambience at Veraison – and now we can understand why. Food was perfect, which was more impressive because of the gluten free requirement of one of us, and the service was fantastic with the wine perfectly complimenting not only the food but also the very congenial atmosphere in the restaurant. Our only problem now is to try and find anything anywhere near this quality in our area when Jill and Steve visit us later this year! Thank you very much, Peter and Pam

What could be more idylic, sipping wine on a sunny evening overlooking the vines... dining on local Aylesbury Duck with a smoked Earl Grey Pithiers,or Flinders Island Spring lamb.. then Pistachio Creme Brulee,or should it be the Ferrero Rocha Trifle..or Peach and Amaretto icecream...? With such delicious food in a delightful setting and attentive staff ..you should have been there!

We had my brother's surprise birthday at Veraison. I cannot speak highly enough of the friendly service, organised staff and delicious food. The five children who attended were looked after by their own 'nanny' for the day-Brodie- and she was fantastic. (if she isn't trained in childcare she should be as she is a natural!) The children and their parents had a wonderful afternoon and it was all down to her ability to entertain the kids. Thank you Brodie. Our waitress, Donna, impressed us with her manner and efficiency. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant, its idealic setting, great food and wine and most importantly its welcoming staff make for a perfect casual venue. I have had lunch at Veraison several times over the past two years and the food has been consistently excellent and the wines very good. Service is friendly, helpful and informative. The setting is beautiful and peaceful. Yesterday (13/12/12) a friend and I had a wonderful lunch and enjoyed the experience of this beautiful restaurant. We particularly enjoyed the salt bush spring lamb - absolutely delicious. This followed an entree of scallops and prosciutto - very yummy. I also very much enjoyed the dessert and wines. Value for money is excellent.

Went to a wedding and everything was fantastic. The wallaby was to die for. The service and knowledge of the staff was fantastic. Sherea and Michael are outstanding and the wine what can I say but :-) yum. Over experience outstanding and a breath of fresh air to find such a gem. Deff will be retuning on a few occasions girls day out dinner with hubby or just a relaxed glass of wine at the cellar door. Truley memorabile

I attended a Wedding Reception at Veraison and I can honestly say it was one of the best I have been too. The Venue and setting were magnificent, the food was to die for and I think you would be hard pushed to find better service. Sheree made us feel so welcome and her and her staff provided first class service. i was so impressed with everything that I definately want to return with my family some of which will be over from the U.K in February. The food is sensational. I had the scallops, duck and creme brulee. My wife had the prawns, salmon and popcorn icecream. All were just perfect. We loved the service by Cherie, very informative, lovely location overlooking the vines with the windows open. Definitely recommended.

From the moment I entered the restaurant I knew this was going to be a wonderful experience.The cleanliness and ambiance was a sure sign.I was greeted & seated with exceptional customer service,in which i'm big on but thought it was a thing of the past. Cheries knowledge of marrying fine foods and fine wines was amazing!I dined there for lunch with some friends, we ordered from the lunch menu and 'Yay' someone's finally got the portion sizing right!I had the salmon which was cooked to perfection and the different food flavours on the plate created a harmonious infusion that danced on my taste buds. The 'Popcorn' ice cream for desert is to die for!!! I thought 'Clover Cottages' white chocolate mousse was the best desert ever but this creative explosion of flavours leaves it for dead. GET ON IT!!! How lucky are we to have such a place on our own back door. Will definitely be back! Thankyou.

We have had the pleasure of enjoying dining at Veraison over a 3-year period and it's always a joy to be spoilt by Cherie and Mark with their friendlyness and delicious food. Having just returned for my 4th Veraison experience last night I am very happy to recommend this as a truly unique dining experience. We took some first timers and they were as blown away with it all, as we have been on our last 3 visits. So innovative, professional, creative and most a all a thrill to the taste buds. Hospitality and customer service are second to none. You must try the V.C. Parfait - words cannot describe here! Loving the Rose also!!

This was my first visit to the winery and Veraison restaurant and what an eye opener!! From the time we entered for the wine tasting right through to the end of our lunch was one of the best experiences i have had. Sheree greeted me with a smile and the knowledge of all the wines were impeccable and very interesting. Sheree was teaching a new trainee (Clare) and what a delightful girl she was. She even thanked us at the end of our meal for giving her the opportunity to serve us.
The meal was to die for. I had the Venison in which my mouth exploded with all the different flavours on my plate. To finish of i was served the best dessert I have ever tasted. It was the Honey roasted popcorn ice cream which sounds like it would not work together but my tastebuds were were dancing in my my mouth, its was devine!! Thank you sooo much for the incredible experience. I will definately be back and recommend it to anyone!!
P.S I also purchased 3 bottles of there finest to take home!!

The food and wine is sensational,and the setting relaxing. Sheree and Mark are friendly and their staff are efficient. This is a restaurant for any occasion.Can't wait for our next visit.

This restaurant and vineyard have a significant WOW factor. The Bluestone Lane wines are an excellent match with the food which was unique. The meal was excellent in preparation, presentation and flavour. We have already booked our next visit.

Verasion is one of my first picks for a special meal. The food is always fabulous with the use of local seasonal produce, cooked and presented beautifully. The setting is lovely and yet unpretentious and Sheree and Mark are great hosts.
We keep going back!

Well worth a visit

Chef Poulter creates amazing dishes with unusual but tasteful use of home grown fruits, salads and vegetables. Ambience and outlook over the vineyard is superb and service impecable.
Very good value wines. A treat to be savourted whenever we can. Often have light entertainment that is always good quality.

We have dined at Veraison several times, and each time it exceeds our expectations. The menu includes small plates and large plates, so that everyone can taste everything. Their desserts are innovative and exciting. Can't wait for New Year's Eve!!
