Enjoy a glass of wine by a cosy wood fire at Lobethal Road Wines, nestled at the foot of Mt Torrens in the scenic Adelaide Hills region. Established in 1998, this family owned vineyard produces a range of premium white and red wines of intense flavour and cool climate character, available for visitors to taste, savour and purchase in a hand built mud brick cellar door. Graze over a platter of local produce overlooking the vineyard in a courtyard garden after first having discovered and demystified the flavours of a range of award winning wines crafted with a minimal intervention and environmentally sustainable approach. Perhaps sip a delicate Pinot Gris with a palate of orchard fruits, cinnamon and nutmeg and an elegant 2014 Shiraz with rich berry fruits, signature pepper and spice notes.
