Woodgate Wines

Secluded in the majestic karri forests of Deanmill in south-west WA is Woodgate Wines, an award-winning boutique winery. Owner-operator Mark Aitken has spent years producing many of the region’s renowned wines; Woodgate, his own brand, was established in 2006. As well as five picturesque hectares of vineyards (which produce nearly all the grapes used in their wines), the winery comprises B&B accommodation and a soon to open cellar door. There visitors will be able to taste and purchase Woodgate Wines’ skilfully crafted range of wines, from a variety of sparklings produced using methode champenoise to the classically crisp, fruity Sauvignon Blanc and highly awarded 2011 Reserve Pinot Noir.
