A Reese-taurant Experience, But Better - Or Should That Be (Peanut) Butter?

By Marie-Antoinette Issa.

Sydney’s excellent dining scene is enough to make any good foodie go nuts with excitement - the latest collaboration to hit the Harbour City may be one of the most ir-Reese-istable yet!

Want a piece of the pie? Head to the first-ever Reese’s-taurant at Grana Privato on Tuesday, October 29 and join celebrated Executive Chef Alex Wong - of hatted restaurants Lana and Martinez - as he serves up six mouthwatering dishes inspired by the classic Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups for a dinner that promises to be ‘Anything but Ordinary’.

A Reese-taurant Experience, But Better - Or Should That Be (Peanut) Butter?

With a focus on creative combinations (think: salty and sweet. gourmet plates and guilty pleasures), this whimsical wonderland will spotlight a delicious selection that’s certainly not as nuts as it sounds.

Start with chicken spiedini served with a peanut chocolate satay. Go coco-loco for the stunning pumpkin girella raviolo, crafted to echo the iconic ripple of a Reese’s cup and drizzled with a dreamy white chocolate peanut and gorgonzola butter sauce. Do nut skip the Wagyu rib cap with oxtail and Reese’s peanut butter ‘rendang’, paired with saffron ‘risotto al salto’. Come dessert, we guarantee you’ll raise your glas…err…cup to Reese’s-taurant’s cheeky twist on the classic ‘PBJ’. Trust us - there’s nut-ing better.

Can’t make it to the Reese’s-taurant? Chef Wong and Reese’s will share their delicious ‘Anything But Ordinary’ recipes at @reesesaustralia on Instagram. So, be sure to follow and spread the love at home.

Tickets are $135 pp and available online.
