Cocktail of the Week from Henry Deane

Technically, it’s not drinking alone if the bartender is there!

You know the drill…it’s Friday afternoon and time to relax after a long and stressful work week.

What better way to chill out than with a cocktail at your favourite bar or restaurant. Alternatively, you could take the party home and concoct the perfect drink to usher in the weekend.

Welcome to our Cocktail of the Week series, where each Friday we will highlight a cheeky creation to tantalise tastebuds and set the tone for good times.

The zenith of Hotel Palisade, this dining destination reveals the building’s modern and contemporary charisma with plush settees and lounges to watch the boats and harbour float on by – kick back and settle into uninterrupted Sydney views no matter which way you look.

New to the venue is Mirce Goveski who is leading the charge with a new menu at Henry Deane and recommends trying his elevated take on a classic cocktail with the Pink Paloma:

"It’s fresh, fun and is just as delicious as its cousin, the Marg,” he tells AGFG. "Most people haven’t had one though, so it’s a pleasant change and surprise.”

The Paloma has been the most popular Tequila-based cocktail in Mexico for decades, so much so that it has been declared the national cocktail of Mexico.
