Cocktail of the Week from love.fish Mixologist Poramat Srikhut

Technically, it’s not drinking alone if the bartender is there!

You know the drill…it’s Friday afternoon and time to relax after a long and stressful work week.

What better way to chill out than with a cocktail at your favourite bar or restaurant? Alternatively, you could take the party home and concoct the perfect drink to usher in the weekend.

Welcome to our Cocktail of the Week series, where each Friday we will highlight a cheeky creation to tantalise tastebuds and set the tone for good times.

Expect a casual waterfront vibe with a breezy alfresco area ideal for people watching with a glass of vino in hand while grazing on half-shell scallops, with orange miso butter and pistachio nori crumb, or char-grilled octopus, with roasted chickpea and tahini.

Mixologist, Poramat Srikhut recommends sampling the Hearthside Citrus Cocktail next time you drop by:

"This cocktail perfectly balances sweet, floral and citrus notes, creating a refreshing and aromatic experience that is both unique and delightful,” he says.

A mix of Lilli Pilli Pink Gin, elderflower liqueur and grape fruit soda, the addition of lilli pilli jam not only adds a distinct flavour, but also highlights native Australian ingredients, celebrating local flora in a modern cocktail.
