Technically, it’s not drinking alone if the bartender is there!
You know the drill…it’s Friday afternoon and time to relax after a long and stressful work week.
What better way to chill out than with a cocktail at your favourite bar or restaurant. Alternatively, you could take the party home and concoct the perfect drink to usher in the weekend.
Welcome to our Cocktail of the Week series, where each Friday we will highlight a cheeky creation to tantalise tastebuds and set the tone for good times.

Mixologist Michael Rice says if you like reminiscing while having a drink late at night, then try this Sippin’ on Scroggin’ cocktail.
"This cocktail first came to mind after tasting Brix Trail Mix Rum and instantly thinking of Christmas pudding and spices,” he explains. "Brookies Macadamia Liqueur brings a delightful nuttiness and slight sweetness to the rum.
"To me, the cocktail is spice and dried fruit and instantly reminds me of two very different flavours – eating trail mix out of a ziplock bag while hiking and my Grandma’s Christmas pudding.”
Michael says growing up seeing the pudding hanging there and then tucking into it with custard and a cheeky dollop of cream resulted in the name Sippin’ on Scroggin’.
