The nation’s favourite foodie event, the Good Food & Wine Show, has announced its 2024 dates, signalling an invitation for food and wine lovers to mark their calendars!
A staple in the diaries of foodies around the country, the much-loved event is celebrating its 23rd year in 2024 and in addition to favourite features, the 2024 shows will see a host of new offerings on the proverbial table.
With a key focus on affordable luxuries and indulgences, this year’s shows will be a veritable smorgasbord of delicious take-home treats, meals and at-home entertaining ideas for every budget from value-packed to premium.
Onsite food and beverage vendors will enable on-the-spot enjoyment, celebrity Chefs and food personalities will be on site to share tips and meet fans and the VIP Lounge will be a coveted locale to enjoy premium food and wine and the chance to relax before hitting the show floor again.
Passionate about providing people with shared experiences through food and wine, the Good Food & Wine Show is the country’s longest-running consumer food and wine event. More than 100,000 people visit the shows each year to enjoy the fare of up to 1000 artisans and brands, along with a line-up of demonstrations, celebrity Chefs and interactive sessions.
This year’s shows will feature:
•The much-loved Cooking Main Stage, now known as the Harvey Norman Kitchen, where a roster of celebrity Chefs will share their secrets while entertaining and inspiring with recipe ideas to take away.
•The Australian Eggs Flip It Cooking Stage, where the likes of Australian MasterChef Dani Venn and food expert Jane de Graaff cook up delicious, nutritious and elevated dishes live on stage.
•The Art of Luxury Tea with Dilmah 85 Reserve, where attendees will enjoy a sensory journey through the world of luxury tea and tea terroir through a variety of engaging experiences from tea-inspired gastronomy to creatively crafted tea-infused cocktails.
•The RIEDEL Drinks Lab, where attendees can brush up on their wine knowledge while being entertained and educated by a wine expert. This event will also offer samples of a range of interesting wine varieties from different regions across Australia all available at the show.
•The Wine Selectors Tasting Room will offer fun and interactive guided tastings to educate about perfect pairing, the art of wine and cheese, and more.
•A Singapore Airlines VIP lounge where Business Class ticket holders will enjoy an ‘in-flight’ inspired menu with choice of 3 substantial meals and up to 5 wines or beers.
•The Loire Valley Wine Experience presented by Loire Wines & Taste France explore the wines and winemaking of the Loire Valley region, from terroir to sustainability, from rosés to sparkling wines and more.
Plus, the popular DrinkWise tasting tracker scratchie card is back to make staying classy fun. Designed to help guests ‘stay tasteful while tasting’, the simple and fun scratchie card enables those keen on tasting the tipples on offer to keep track of their consumption by scratching off panels after every tasting.
After the success of its festive celebrations in 2023, Good Food & Wine Show has also committed to two Christmas markets for 2024, which lovers of the festive season will no doubt want to start counting down now!
