Located in the heart of Melbourne's Central Business District, Blue Diamond, the iconic cocktail bar and Japanese restaurant situated on the 15th floor at 123 Queen Street, is thrilled to announce its grand reopening.
After a period of refurbishment, Blue Diamond returns with an elevated experience, where luxury dining, electrifying nightlife and the art of Japanese cuisine come together for a truly unforgettable experience.

The venue boasts panoramic views of the city, making it a premier destination for both locals and visitors seeking an unforgettable night out. Entertainment remains at the heart of the Blue Diamond experience and General Manager Warrence Moorghen is excited to welcome guests back to the refurbished venue.
"Whether you’re looking for a private dinner, after-work drinks, a special event, lively group seatings, or a night filled with entertainment, Blue Diamond has something for all,” Warrence says. "The venue guides guests through a seamless transition from day to evening and late into the night, featuring a unique blend of signature flavours and entertainment. With an array of performances and resident DJs, it’s not just a restaurant; it’s a party you don’t want to miss.”

The curated menu showcases a fusion of traditional Japanese flavours with modern sophistication. Guests can indulge in a variety of dishes, all curated by Blue Diamond's Head Chef, Fung. Embark on a culinary experience starting with freshly caught seafood, including oysters with VOIR jelly, salmon roe, yuzu sauce or mignonette, kingfish tataki, spicy tuna tartare with caviar, chives, nori crisps and lobster carpaccio.
Enjoy main dishes, including M7-M8 Wagyu Steak, Grilled miso black cod, slow-cooked Cape Grim short ribs and teriyaki lamb chops with basil miso.

Head Chef Fung remarks: "We've crafted a menu that showcases fresh Japanese-inspired dishes. Each diner that walks through the doors of Blue Diamond will enjoy our Japanese food offerings and an extensive list of beer, wine, signature sake and cocktails. Stand-out items on the menu are the aburi flame-sealed dishes, including salmon, scallops, Wagyu beef, flathead and the Blue Diamond feature box (sushi, sashimi and maki). Our Chefs use our ‘open-flame kitchen’ to ensure the best possible taste.”
Blue Diamond's private dining room promises more than exclusivity. The private dining space accommodates up to 10 guests, its own balcony providing an intimate escape to savour raw and spicy dishes complemented by signature cocktails, sake and top-tier wines.
Located on 123 Queen Street, Level 15, Melbourne, Blue Diamond operates from Wednesday to Saturday, opening its doors at 5 pm until late. For reservations, please visit www.bluediamondclub.com.au.
