"Our menu is ever-changing and relies on what the season has to offer, our produce is local, with some of the produce coming from both my garden and Gabriel’s garden,” says owner Adina Melder. "We use suppliers with a sustainable ethos and each time you dine at Commis it will be a new experience.
"This makes it hard to put in a must-try, I do recommend trying whatever comes off the hibachi grill, we use traditional charcoal and cooking methods and whether protein or plant-based, it’s always delicious.”
What is your point of difference?
At Commis, the menu is seasonal and could be different from day to day and so is the art. The space also operates as an art gallery where you can see or purchase both local and international artists’ work.
What is a fun fact that not many people know about the restaurant?
Commis holds quarterly art events and artist talks at the venue, where the space reflects the owners’ combined passion for food, wine and art.
