Our passion and our people. We have worked in hospitality for a number of years across a range of venue styles. we have fine-tuned a dining style which is relaxed yet offers attentive knowledgeable service.

We look our after staff just as we do our guests. they are crucial to our operation and we want them to enjoy coming to work each day. We promote an inclusive engaging culture with development opportunities. We want to build skillsets and grow careers to help keep the future of our industry alive.
What is a fun fact that not many people know about the restaurant?
Owners Jack and Kirsty met working in this industry 9 years ago.
"We had a relationship as Manager/Head Chef before anything else. Fast forward seven years to husband and wife!” Kirsty says.
"Six months after throwing quite the wedding party we were planning to open our first restaurant in Airlie Beach. We had an empty shell of a site and had to design and build it from the ground up which was a huge learning curve for us both.
"Our restaurant name Eastwoods is essentially named after Clint Eastwood – Jack is a big fan of Western movies and when we couldn’t agree on a name just started saying things we liked…Eastwoods stuck as I thought it made sense for a Southeast Asian-style restaurant.”
