Meaning ‘sizzle’ get ready to Jiggle your way through a meal of traditional dishes from spicy kimchi stew to Korean pancakes and warming ramyeon noodles; pair a rice wine, soju or beer with sweet and spicy Korean fried chicken or enjoy vegetable dumplings while your BBQ selection of Wagyu meat is infused with charcoal.
Why should you drop in for a meal at Jiggle Korean BBQ? Here are three good reasons:
What’s your must-try popular dish/drink:
Our Wagyu rib meat and marinated Wagyu rib fingers, paired with Soju or a Korean beer and a side of Korean fried chicken, are established favourites at Jiggle.
What's your point of difference:
Whether you are solo, a couple or a group of people out celebrating an event, the cooking of fresh meat and vegetables at your table is always enjoyable. The communal style of grilling together, sharing side dishes and making wraps for each other is what Korean culture is about.
We are also the first Korean BBQ in the Blue Mountains with a fantastic view of glorious sunsets and mountains. Situated along Leura train tracks, it’s quite a unique spot for the train spotter and enthusiast.
What is a fun fact that not many people know about the restaurant?
The business didn’t just start on the night of opening. It started with months of Jay, Hannah and close family and friends renovating and fitting out the restaurant. This included laying 170 square metres of floor tiles, opening up the kitchen, painting and installing traditional Korean roof tiles. Jay personally chose all of the equipment, furnishings and tableware in Korea.
Jay manages the kitchen, trimming and cutting fresh meat every morning. Hannah is a photographer by profession and creates all of the content for Jiggle while running the front of house.
