Relaunching one of Pullman Quay’s premier restaurants is no easy task but with Culinary Ambassador, Justin North and Executive Chef Daniel Simpson, Q Dining will launch a micro-seasonal dining approach, with a menu that takes diners on a culinary journey.
Executive Chef Daniel Simpson said “We looked locally first when pulling together the menu to really create a sense of regional distinctiveness. The transformation of the restaurant from Quadrant to Q Dining encourages a more relaxed and interactive dining experience. We want diners to connect to the destination through the food and feel comfortable enough to ask questions about the produce and its origins.”
To get to know Daniel, head over to our quick Q&A with him.
Q Dining highlights the open plan charcuterie, showcasing NSW sourced meats such as a porcini rubbed house-cured Wagyu flank and salami from Salumi Australia, based in Byron Bay.
Signature dishes are what separate Q Dining’s menu from other restaurants, with a starter of smoked eel, citrus curd, soy and linseed crostini sure to impress. Main meals will keep you coming back for more with Milly hill lamb backstrap, marinated in harissa, house made ricotta and micro mache.
For those with a sweet tooth the chocolate mousse, salted caramel, popcorn ice cream and chocolate cookie crumbs is an oldie but a goodie.
