Fortress Creek Canyon near Leura is ideal for the first time canyoner, ending above the spectacular Grouse Valley. For those with a little more experience, Serendipity Canyon offers four wet absails and a waterjump, with Tigersnake Canyon a dry canyon. Those who consider themselves an advanced canyoner will enjoy Hole in the Wall Canyon, complete with 18 metre freefall through a hole in the canyon floor. Butterbox Canyon is a must for those who are up for a challenge.

High n Wild has been operating since 1989. We run daily tours in the Blue Mountains including Abseiling (Rappelling), Rock Climbing, Canyoning, Mountain Biking, Bush Survival courses and Bush Walking. We also conduct Snow and Ice climbing (Mountaineering) courses both in Australia and overseas and provide rigging services to the film industry.
After a twenty year working partnership with the Youth Hostel Association (YHA), High n Wild is now based inside the Blue Mountains YHA. We can now offer you an adventure experience combined with the convenience of accommodation literally at our door.
