Biviano's Restaurant

By chance it was suggested we go to Biviano's for my birthday lunch - a colleague insisted and half an hour later I was going - I'm Italian so I don't like going to Italian restaurants because of course my mum can do better :-)

BUT, how lucky were we? This restaurant is a hidden gem. Firstly you'll slowly drive down the serene, beautiful drive way and feel like you could be entering an estate in the Hunter Valley. As you arrive into the car park the exquisite gardens leave you in awe, you could now be in Tuscany....

Entering the restaurant you are engulfed in its serene, glamorous and stunning interior. You have now entered a fine dining experience. We were greeted beautifully... given a window table and the birthday surprise continued.

We ordered Zucchini Flowers, which I would return for just for these, the lightness of the batter something we've not ever had before. From the scallops, the Duck main, the homemade gnocchi (sorry mum) we were wowed and found ourselves focusing in on every mouthful, being highly mindful of the 'difference' and excellence we were experiencing as Italians eating Italian food that was a kaleidoscope of flavours that was an explosion in our mouths.

The service was another level, with our wait staff pre-empting our every need. I've been a waitress for years so I expect the best and again this was another absolute highlight to our impromptu lunch.

My only regret is that I didn't know about this place before, I would've had my 50th here, my sister's High Tea and more. However, even though our children are not there yet we've already decided that they will just have to get married here!! One can only put it out there.

So now we are Italians who go to one only Italian restaurant. Thank you Biviano's for an experience like no other...

The presentation of this restaurant is very impressive. Our waitress was fantastic. Entrees and Mains had mixed reviews but presentation was good. The deserts were very disappointing and bland. but once again, presentation was good. Deserts need to enjoyable to leave a lasting good memory. Overall, small servings of average food well presented in a beautifully presented restaurant by a nice waitress.

We love the atmosphere at the new Biviano's at Dural. We have had afternoon tea and a group diner there since it opened. Service is always good and staff always happy to see you. Lovely fresh Italian food.

Good menu choices, our selections were good. We were made to feel at home, with nothing to much trouble.
