Just a word of warning regarding using your Entertainment Card at this establishment. They refused our cards on 28 December with the excuse that it was a public holiday. This is contrary to the rules of the Entertainment book which specifies the days that they are not obliged to accept the card. And although it was a Boxing Day Holiday - it was not in fact Boxing Day - so they had no right to refuse to accept the cards - which ended up costing us about $80.00 more than it should have. I followed this up with the Entertainment Book people and they were going to advise BlackSwan Winery that they were breaking the rules. In other words - if it is not the actual day of exclusion as mentioned in the Entertainment Book - an establishment cannot refuse to accept an Entertainment Card. I gave Black Swan Winery first option to make amends - but they have not bothered. So much for supporting local business.
local rep was not good and i suspected old history with large crowds but definitely on par now with rose n crown guildford as an evening dinner spot...my partner was delighted with seafood courses and i was satisfied with the bruscetta and shank wellington and amused when same black swan scat appeared under the pastry...an interesting and tasty puree concoction indeed LOL
My husband brought me here for dinner on my birthday. We were so impressed with the friendly and knowledgeable staff, the high quality of the food and wine, and our over all experience. This is honestly one of the best dining experiences I've ever had in Perth.
I've been here for both lunch and dinner a few times and have never been disappointed. It is a favourite place to take international and interstate visitors for consistently good food, wine and service. The only drawback is with live entertainment being a little intrusive to the ambience.
My partner and I had our anniversary lunch here. She had the duck which absolutely just melted in your mouth and my dish was fantastic. The price was not what I was used to but I can understand why because the meals were of a higher standard and the quality was beautiful. I could not fault the meals we had from the aroma to the presentation to the taste all 10 out of 10. The service was also very pleasant as well.
