You know when you have so many restaurants to choose from and you think, well why fix it if it isn't broke? Well we're coming back here. When the food is everything you want: flavour, beautifully cooked and satisfying , I see no point in trying another place on our visit. This is my favourite Port Fairy restaurant . Do yourself a favour.

We had an exceptional meal. Beautiful flavours, generous serves and friendly service. We would definitely eat there again.

It's hard for me to find a perfect steak - thank you! And it's so nice to experience unique dishes like home made brined tuna and house cured gravlax! And thanks for the wine suggestion

Situated in the totally delightful and historical Port Fairy, this restaurant occupies a former bank building. The decor is formal with the walls and ceilings, painted in a deep burgundy shade, creating a very intimate, romantic, ambience. Being St Valantines Day we were presented with complimentary drinks on arrival. We chose one meal from the special Valentines day menu, from a choice of four entree's, three mains, two desserts, we chose the chefs tasting plate which included (salmon cured in rock salt, beetroot and Vodka), outstanding. The main was a Sirloin, 30 day dried, char grilled Black Angus Sirloin, with Italian style potatoes and zucchini. Prepared and presented to perfection. Dessert; Fig leaf Brûlée with a honey and lavender ice cream. Delicious. From the menu; coconut crumbed prawns, served with a house made mango relish, very tasty. Mains; Quinlans famous lamb rack, herb crusted, 4 point rack with white truffled cous cous and raspberry jus, tender and delicious. All the meats are sourced locally. Desserts; chocolate pudding, absolutely mouth watering. (real chocolate). The restaurant has a very impressive wine list, our food was accompanied with wine that complimented each dish. The service was excellent completing a very satisfying evening. For dinner on Valentines evening we could not have found a better restaurant.
