Great place , great chef
Brilliant dedication to food, amazing location and very good value. Always good for breakfast before a gourmet tour.
Its often hard to find a great breakfast menu but this one excels. The staff are excellent and view superb.
This cafe is so good. I try to have a swim and a walk along the beautiful beach first because I know I will indulge and feel good about it when I get back and relax at the cafe. My son is an avid surfer so he's always ready to eat. We are holiday regulars not 'locals' but we are welcomed warmly by the cafe staff whenever we turn up. Breakfast is our favourite thing and the poached eggs are just perfect. I like them with the potato rosti and salsa. My son likes them with hollandaise and spinach. Or is that me? Sometimes he has crepes. So, we share! We are not past staying for lunch or coming back with friends during our stay.
A few weeks ago a gang of us came from my brothers in Busselton and had lunch. So hard to choose but the kids seemed really happy with fish and chips. (All except my little gourmet boy who had to have the crab salad and corn fritter!) We shared of course. So I was happy to pay because I wanted that too but got the best of both worlds with the Duck confit. My brother had goat and a few others had a shepherds pie that they raved about. The service was friendly and easy. They coped with our crowd of kids and demands for milkshakes, soft drinks, ice cream, wines and coffees without getting flustered and I doubt we were the easiest mob to serve.
My only disappointment is that no-one else has the brains to order my old breakfast favourite the congee! They took it off the menu due to lack of interest. Oh well. Anyone else for congee? YUM
Bunker's Beach Cafe is an amazing find. It's right on the beach in Dunsborough and has some of the best food I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. The atmosphere is relaxed and soothing, the views are absolutely gorgeous and the staff are wonderful. The prices are very reasonable too. If you're looking for a great cafe in Dunsborough, this is the place to go!
