Not as good as expected
Service in general was unprofessional, an awkward wait to be seated, staff reaching across to place cutlery all night, glass of wine placed on left, no help with menu and as a result we did not order sides, the waitstaff could have mentioned the sides as we had never been here before. The softshell crab was swapped out and the prawn cutlets underwhelmed, The croquette was plated beautifully, but lacked flavour. Being offered even some cracked pepper would have been good. Venison\steak was cooked to perfection, however the fish was overcooked. The Apple pie was a delight to the pallate. A nice venue, and pleasant meal, but not in our must visit next time in Canberra list

Very clever and beautifully- plated food in a comfortable room with good service, apart from an excessive wait for the bill. The wine list is excellent, with a number of exciting offerings by the glass. Mains were actually better than the entrees, which is unusual. All in all, a nice place for a romantic or special occasion.
