Still holding as consistently great
We've been a few time since last review. The standard keeps getting higher as Chef experiments with more flavours and combinations. Always simple food done well but it's the tweaks and interesting flavour combinations that keep it inventive and lively. Highly recommend.

And they just keep pushing themselves to be better
The winter menu is a flash back- but don't expect it to be the same. Little changes, slight variations- just things to make the dish go further and be more interesting. Love the drive of the chef and staff to continue to grow and not just let a good dish rest on what it was. Go often, try lots, see the evolution.

After 2 years of visits, we finally tried the d'Arrys' signature lobster dish. Do not underestimate how fabulous this is. Even a non- lobster lover like me was enthralled. Delicious, not fishy, delicate, gentle and full of flavour. d'Arry's successful creates a multi-cultural cuisine fusion that will suit practically anyone.

We've now experienced two full years of d'arrys seasonal menus and can say that they are consistently good. We've never had a bad meal, the flavours are lovely, the friendly staff are sensational. The atmosphere is flexible, be rushed or be slow- the staff accommodate. With a high varied menu- there is something for everyone and although creative and inventive, the flavours are balanced and mid range so everyone will be happy. Fabulous food no matter when you go.

Went to d'Arry's for each menu last year and have been dribbling over the current one. What we love is the service is amazing and the food is creative but great flavours. Highly recommend for great food in a fab location

have been meaning to come here for years and finally came. Were not disappointed. The hype and reviews are correct, fabulously inventive and beautifully executed food. Great location, lovely friendly and professional staff. When we can't figure out what's in the meal because it's so complex but tastes so good- we are happy! We'll be back for the next menu- cant' wait to see what else happens this year.

Outstanding in every way. The most beautiful food, service. Accomplished kitchen staff. A joy to visit. Almost an equal to the Lane in Balhannah. D'Arry's Verandah Restaurant is out in front by a nose compared to the lane. excellent value. And Flavours so memorable that one cannot forget the taste days after. So good.

Lovely views over wine country. Ability to sit indoors or on outside verandah.
Diversity provided in a medium sized menu with good variety of specials offered. Local products utilised.
Service professional, excellant knowledge of menu, enthusiastic & providing comfortable space whilst dining.
Great to have a winery also cellaring from different regions/countries although local product extremely good. The ability to taste prior to lunch an advantage in selecting dinner beverages.
It would however have been nice to know entree's had been delivered to table whilst in cellar door.
Overall a wonderful experience that will be repeated. A great luncheon outing.
