Awesome food and atmosphere, service was great, an awesome dinning experience.
The food was Amazing, and the service was very fast for our largish group (it was a quiet night though). My only complaint was that I was still hungry after a 3 course meal.
One word, AMAZING! Ok maybe a few more words, the combination of flavours created a dance party in my mouth, and every mouthful was more enjoyable than the first. WOW what a night, great food, great wine, beautiful setting. We will be back for sure. Thank you so much Mr Rodrigo Emerson!
Had lunch there today and am very impressed. The tapas serving are the perfect size. Could've ordered everything on the menu but decided will have to return to try the rest. The Squid was cooked perfectly, accompanied by an excellent aoli. This was followed by the scallops, which were fantastic then the red emporer and the pork belly again really good. Saved just a little bit of room and had the chocolate dessert and it was so worth waiting for. Wonderful. The citrus was also amazing and I believe the banana was most impressive (not a banana person myself). The staff are competent, efficient, personable and knowledgable. They are helpful without being pompous. Would highly reccomend this restaurant. A greta dining experience

I had been a long time fan of Chef Emerson when he was at the helm of 'Chez Pok'. Emerson and his wife Samantha have now taken the leap and opened up their own eatery at Casurina Estate and let me tell you his food is as good as ever! It's amazing to see what Chef Emerson is creating without the restraints of "Resort Dining". He is cooking seriuos food for serious food lovers.
The lunch menu focuses on Emersons Filipino/Spanish heritage with a variety of tapas dishes. Standouts are the pate, garlic prawns, salt cod croquettes and for Dessert the Mango Set Creme is delicious!
Dinner is more Formal Modern Australian Dining. Its hard to go past a degustation especially one as well priced as this! Pan fried breast and conft leg of quail is a winner as is the Roasted Pork Belly with Scallops and Tamarind Gel.
Service is another strong point. Emersons wife Samantha is a newcomer to the industry and has taken to it like a duck to water. All waitstaff are very curtious and have excellent knowledge of the food and wine being served.
Its great to see Emerson out on his own cooking from the heart!

If you are visiting the Hunter Valley Vineyards we strongly recommend dining at Emersons.
