About Frank Restaurant & Bar
The flame of passion – and the passion of flame – are the food culture of South America and that is what's on the menu at Frank Restaurant & Bar on Franklin Wharf in Hobart. This fun and funky waterfront dining and bar venue located on one of Tasmania's iconic landmarks, sets the scene for warming, seasonal comfort food cooked on the coals of the charcoal grill in a vibrant vibe of aqua, orange and lime green. Take a seat at leather banquettes, cosy table settings, or at the glass frontage to watch the sun set over the harbour and begin with small plates of char-grilled quail, chorizo, honey brown mushrooms, potatoes and truffle butter. Spiced local venison and mojo de ajo may entice with a side of charred vegetables, goats' curd and salsa; best enjoyed with a glass of South American wine.

Arrived at 10 on Sunday night and the kitchen was still open. servings a little small but quality and flavor were great. Don't have the cider on tap - it's not what you are expecting. Nice vibe. Will go back on the next trip.
