Not great for solo diner
Food was fine - not awesome but quite good.
I went by myself and it seemed that serving me was an afterthought. I was seated hurriedly, by a waiter pointing at a table. No menu was offered, no water, no bread, nothing. Finally I got a menu and wine list and a server came over. Wines by the glass were not on the list, but chalked on an unreadable board across the room. Once I ordered the food came in a reasonable amount of time, and was good, as noted, but it did take some effort to get a second glass of wine.
All that said, I enjoyed my meal, but would have enjoyed it more if I hadn't been treated in such a lacklustre way.
All in all a great rounded restaurant with quirky casual welcoming atmosphere, very good food service and great value for money.
