Izakaya Yebisu

A popular hotspot, Izakaya Yebisu bar and sushi restaurant has joined the dining precinct nestled into Regent Place and re-created a traditional Japanese experience that Sydneysiders have enthusiastically embraced. A cheery atmosphere inside resembles that of a downtown Japanese izakaya and diners place orders through an iPad menu at their table, as curious imported beverages like exotic beer, sake and Shochu arrive. While sipping a glass of Samurai Pinot Gris, start with small bites like skewers of tender grilled meat, drizzled in tangy sauces or taste cold plates like a mix of tofu and seaweed salad, tuna sushi rolls and sashimi with dipping sauce. Hot plates may present tasty mouthfuls of crunchy mixed tempura followed by a grill of scallop gratin with miso and a hot pot of the day.
