About Jugemu & Shimbashi
A two-in-one dining experience awaits Sydneysiders at Jugemu Shimbashi Japanese restaurant on Military Road in Neutral Bay. There are two separate entrances leading to either the vibrant modern space of Jugemu – specialising in teppanyaki-style fare – or the calm, traditional ambience of Shimbashi, where handmade soba noodles are made fresh daily from Tasmanian buckwheat. Whatever side you choose to dine you can order from both menus, along with an assortment of wine and a unique selection of sake and shochu; perhaps start your culinary adventure with lightly-seared Wagyu beef tataki, wasabi, chives, garlic chips and ponzu. For the main affair, delve into the likes of grilled cod, marinated in housemade saikyo white miso; or opt for soba noodles, chicken, mushrooms and hot dipping broth.
