Delicious and creative food. Rostis are a must try. Friendly service and great options for beers. A wonderful night to ease the fatigue of the long trip from Melbourne.
Sublime
Finally Cairns has a restaurant that has entered the 21st. Century. What a welcome relief from the usual boring and outrageously expensive faire other places have to offer. Went last week for a birthday dinner with the family. The service was superb, the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming and the food was absolutely sublime. Laze serves the most wonder innovative and creative cuisine at a realistic price. The service was phenomenal as well. Hats off to Laze.
A real gem
The best place to eat and relax at the northern beaches weather you're a local or a traveller. Fabulous meals and great value for money.
Best Ribs in FNQ
I had the best Ribs ever at Laze. Falling of the bones, juicy and tender. My partner had the spiced Rosti and he loved. The apple pie with salted caramel was perfect to finish our night. We had a great time at this amazing restaurant and will be back soon.
Perfection
I dined here last week and have been telling people about my experience ever since.
The food was wonderful. We started out with a delicious garlic bread. We next had the pork ribs and one chicken rosti. It was sublime. For dessert, we shared the chocolate brownie with coffee ice cream. Again, perfection!
The service is the on the spot, extremely professional and very friendly. The wine list has some very interesting options not found too often in other restaurants.
Flavour and texture in every bite!
I arrived hungry and left feeling fully satisfied without the bloat. From the first bite to the last we were truly WOW’d. The thought that goes into the flavour combinations is exceptional and the presentation is beyond reproach. We had the crocodile crocodile rolls followed by one Chicken and one veggie Rosti as a main. Will come back for desserts.

Friendly and courteous staff. We stayed for dine-in and had a pleasant evening. Quick serving and fresh food. The fish was gloriously golden and crisp. The salad on the side was very flavorful. Laze desserts are not from this planet. We had one boom and the thunder. You must try. Going to come back again

Great quality food and brilliant service. The staff are super welcoming and friendly and chat to you like you're old friends.
Food is always cooked to order and delicious. Can especially recommend the loco rosti, the pork ribs and the thunder Milkshake.

This popped up in my search for good food places in Cairns. It looked interesting, so I decided to give it a go. I was not disappointed at all. I'm so happy I did. Somehow I felt really at peace when I was there. They have perfect food options for everyone. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The food was excellent and presented beautifully. Service was great. All in all, a lovely experience. I would definitely recommend Laze when in Cairns or Trinity Beach. Be warned that it's not a big place, but super charming with great food and service!

Every dish was made to perfection and I couldn’t stop making yummy noises - always a very good sign. It is really hard to pick a favourite dish, as they were all fantastic. The star is definitely their famous Stuffed Rosti. Genuine and creative dish at its best.
We were very full by the end, but you can't miss Laze's Desserts right? We shared the Hot Brownie Trifle. WOW. There aren't enough words in the world to describe how awesome the dessert was. Brilliant Brownie perfect melded with a delicious chocolate fondue, peanut butter and fresh Ice Cream.

Delicate and superb fusion of flavors. Fish was incredibly fresh and presentation of each dish was incredible. Loved it.
