Come home to Mum at Maman Bar & Kitchen on James Street in Burleigh Heads for fine fare to share. This restaurant is all sleek lines, white and bright, creating an ideal ambience for lingering over delicious Mediterranean to Middle Eastern bites, sustainable wines and no-nonsense cocktails to toast all those near and dear. Founded by two Mums – Lizzy and Karen – each dish is served with love from local and organic ingredients, which have been nurtured from the ground up. Settle in and graze on Spanish sardines, caper berries, cornichons, pickled onions, Romesco sauce and charred sourdough; before larger plates of lamb tagine, dates, slivered almonds, preserved lemon couscous and yoghurt. Decadent desserts await those with room such as rose yoghurt panna cotta and fresh berries.

Bug rolls and cocktails were an absolute stand out! Came with the family on holidays, service and decor were stunning complimented by mouth watering food, packed full of flavours! As someone who works in the industry I highly recommend anyone visiting the Gold Coast and surrounding areas to go out of their way to give this place a shot! 12/10

We came for a lunch and it did not disappoint!!!! Every dish was a winner and the BUG ROLLS were AMAZING (and very large). The decor was so soothing and the cocktails are delicious !!! Highly recommend xx
