About Ori Cafe
Established in 1891, Springwood’s Oriental Hotel on Macquarie Road is home to the welcoming Ori Cafe. A warm, heritage interior belies the restaurant’s menu, a mix of well-executed classics and inspired creations – intriguing plays on colour, flavour and textures that wouldn’t look out of place in an art gallery. Common to every dish is fresh market produce, sourced daily with casual starters like salt and pepper squid, rocket and pear salad and aioli; or bruschetta, with tomato, Spanish onion, basil pesto, balsamic and feta. Those after something a little more substantial may opt for Porterhouse steak, salad, fries and mushroom sauce, or battered flathead, house salad, chips and tartar. Be sure to finish with a sweet, such as Death by Chocolate – warm ganache, cream and chocolate gelato.

Vegetarian meal
Well, well, well. My wife and I have just returned from having the best vegetarian meal ever. I have just been told that it will be part of their menu in future, that's me there every week. Apart from that, the standard of the food in general is very nice indeed, it is certainly a place that I recommend to people. I highly recommend the ORI Cafe for service and atmosphere
Quality value for money food, great coffee, warm attentive service. A pleasure to visit.
