Beautiful Indian food at reasonable prices.
First time dining at this location with my wife. Very nice setting with good service. We ate a entree followed by chicken masala and lamb korma with rice and garlic nan. Every dish was excellent and sufficient in size. It was nice to be asked after entree if we were ready for our mains without them rushing those meals upon us. Considering the food, service and atmosphere this is a restaurant we will be returning too.
What a beautiful restaurant - I had never been here until I saw it on the app - I would definately go back again!
Great food, very nice restaurant. Will definitely go again.
over rated food very oily i found but otherwise alright, not somewhere i'd come often
I saw that Saffron had recently been featured here on the guide and decided to try it - I was not disappointed. I can't choose a favourite dish as I loved them all. We both decided this is our new favourite Indian and will be back again and again.
I tried Saffron for the first time as a takeaway order, my partner and I ordered butter chicken and Naan bread it was excellent. The butter chicken was surprisingly spicy which was a nice change and the service was excellent. I will definitely be coming back
I had to come back to try the Dosa. Very worthwhile. Also had the Butter Chicken, naan and coconut rice. I recommend this place. Best Indian on the Gold Coast without question.
We got off to a bad start with all the staff pre-occupied with setting up for a big party. It took about an hour before our first food arrived. We also ordered the dosa (dosai) only to be told 15 minutes later that due to the party the chef would not cook that dish for us. Given its been about 15 years since I last had it, you could say I was disappointed. BUT then the Tandoori Chicken arrived. Wheeee. Very good. Then the Lamb Madras with coconut rice. Fantastic. Also some Roti and Spinach and Cheese Naan. All in all the food was so good we decided to come back at another time to try the Dosa. I can't wait.
For years we have struggled to find the perfect indian restaurant on the coast. Finally friends took us to Saffron on Friday. It was busy but they found us a table quickly and really looked after us. The food was absolutely first class. We shared several dishes and they all excelled. Thank you so much. We will be back.
Awesome food, modern look and good service. Highly recommended for casual dining, intimate meal or takeaway. Very impressed.
