About Sugarsalt
Newly opened Sugarsalt café is the latest brunch drawcard in Sydney’s southern suburbs. Located on Pitt Street in Mortdale, Sugarsalt’s light and airy vibe is complemented by hanging greenery and street side tables, where diners watch the world go by while sipping a morning espresso. Local cyclists make an early pit stop to grab a brew to go, while those with more time on their hands can choose from brekky and lunch delights to satisfy any hunger pangs. With dish names such as Usual Suspect - panini with bacon, egg, cheese and barbeque sauce - to Doctor’s Orders - Bircher muesli, yoghurt and fresh fruit, this café menu is fun, fresh and full of vitality. Don’t forget to chow down on a Make No Mi-steak burger with scotch fillet, beetroot relish, house pickle and aioli on an Italian roll.

Best cafe in the area
This is a great little cafe where locals can get a quick beverage or sit an enjoy a meal with friends. The coffee is fantastic as is the food. The prices are very reasonable. The only reason I only gave it a 3 star for setting is that it can get quite noisy but that's more the fault of the patrons than the establishment.
