About Tapavino
Celebrating Spanish culture with a sip of this and a taste of that is Tapavino, splashing onto Sydney’s dining scene in many a shade of sherry. Famous for its Spanish fortified wine collection, Tapavino has already accrued a loyal following, who line up to enter the laneway location as if on the cobblestoned streets of Madrid. Beyond the pea green front door, warm red lighting, black painted brick, long wooden tables and an impressive wine wall set the tone for an evening of sherry sampling and tapas tasting. Enjoy bites like the yellowfin tuna ‘cruda’ with crushed spiced almonds and sherry dressing or, for something a little heavier, spiced lamb shoulder with pomegranate and yoghurt. If you're looking for a little more than a glass to accompany your meal, then a carafe will do nicely.

Went there for dinner with my husband last night- we couldn't fault a single thing! The waitstaff were really attentive without being intrusive and the food and wine(s) were phenomenal. Makes me wish I actually lived in Sydney so I could make Tapavino a regular thing!
