About The Moldy Fig
Set along the bustling Streets of Melbourne’s East Brunswick, is corner restaurant hitting all the right notes, The Moldy Fig. Inspired by the Jazz era of New Orleans, take in the larger than life sax player mural adorning the front brick entrance, welcoming passersby into a moody, yet colourful atmosphere of timber tables, vibrant artworks and a backdrop of themed music, making for a swingin’ place to get the party started whilst enjoying American cocktails. Serving a menu of Cajun and Creole fare, enjoy the punchy flavours of share plates like the Voodoo prawns sautéed in Southern Comfort sauce or perhaps the Kickin’ collard greens, fried with double smoked ham. For the main chorus, devour the chicken and andouille sausage gumbo stew or rabbit fricassee with chilli garlic cornbread.
