About The Mossy Cafe
Housed in an old general store established in 1939, The Mossy Café on Pacific Street in Mossy Point mixes shabby chic charm with a Mod Oz menu of café fare. An original façade gives way to a warm, cosy interior ambience of recycled timer, mismatched furniture in an eclectic style and an alfresco area, where guests can soak up rays under market umbrellas. With a no cutting corners approach, this café serves seasonal dishes made using fresh, local ingredients, resulting in all-day tempters such as ham hock eggs benedict with wilted kale and housemade hollandaise on toasted sourdough. Tuck into a nourishing Seoul bowl of brown rice, pickled vegetables, kimchi, peanuts, carrot, poached egg, coriander, sesame seeds and kewpie mayo; washed down with a berry blast smoothie or iced salted caramel.
