For more than 145 years, Brisbanites have met, mingled and created memories on the iron-laced verandahs of the iconic Regatta Hotel on Coronation Drive in Toowong. This grand old lady of the Brisbane River has withstood flood, fire and more than a century of change, to present dining and drinking options like stylish and relaxed gastro-pub, The Boatshed. Sprawling river views and a centrepiece two-metre-long flame grill, add a sense of theatre as you watch signature dry-aged steaks sizzle; or choose from innovative seasonal menu options like share plates of crispy pork belly and salt and pepper squid. For the main affair, delve into seafood linguine with fresh fish, mussels, prawns, chilli, basil, spinach and lemon; or pistachio-crusted lamb rack, lemon and basil couscous and tomato salsa.
