About Vincent
Vincent delivers a Chef-hatted concept restaurant to the Canberra region, hidden amongst Government departments and new apartments in the leafy suburb of Barton. Nestled on Macquarie Street, this elegant restaurant embodies a laid-back vibe with a long communal bar to comfortably seat groups, or couples looking to relax over a glass of wine. A dark and moody, yet warm and ambient, interior complements a menu pairing great food with specially sourced wines; start with a small plate of Korean beef tartare, miso and pear, or stracciatella, cauliflower, Egyptian dukkah and tahini. For the main, salivate over charcoal-grilled red snapper, beurre blanc, capers and chilli oil, or ricotta gnocchi with black garlic and oyster mushroom; finish with warm chocolate mousse, pear and Earl Grey.

This is a wine bar with tasty share plates. Nice staff. Limited choice of bubbles, one Prosecco, one champagne at $40 a glass! and gin is the only spirit offered.
I don’t drink wine, just bubbles and vodka. My husband is a wine drinker. Very limited for me! But we had a nice time!
Interesting place.Food is good(thanks to the lady chef)and reasonable($75), but a bit noisy, more like bar than fine dining.
