Wheelers Seafood Restaurant offers a dining experience full of fresh seafood, swift service and serene views of Merimbula Lake, where their quality oysters are nurtured and grown. Wheelers carefully presents dishes with a signature touch of delicacy, reflected in the flavours of each meal and a seasonal menu showcasing local produce. Specialties include pan-seared scallops, truffle parsnip purée and crispy wombok to start, or kangaroo tail and pork belly croquettes with apple and celeriac slaw, smoky aioli and fresh herbs. For a delicious dinner, try slow-cooked lamb shoulder, preserved lemon, pearl couscous, green beans and chimichurri, or Wagyu beef short rib, sticky BBQ bourbon sauce, Hasselback potatoes, pineapple and corn salsa, with a glass of Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon.

As well, a delicious array of seafood, meat and vegetarian meals are available every day for Lunch and from Monday to Saturday for Dinner. Together with exceptional service and a beautiful atmosphere, dining at Wheeler's promises to be an experience to remember.
In addition, you could enjoy the best fish and chips or indulge in fresh local seafood-to-go plus tea, coffee and sweet treats at Wheeler's Takeaway & Cafe. Open daily 10am - 6pm. Take the opportunity to discover all about oysters with a tour of the Wheeler's Oyster Farm, 11am Monday to Saturday.

Since moving down the Far South Coast..approx 15 years ago.. there is no better restaurant to dine at for top class food especially seafood, the service is always first class, great wine and drinks menu...PLUS on top of all that they have magnificent takeaway....love it

Went to wheelers for my birthday dinner. The place has a buzzy, smart casual atmosphere and the service was excellent- friendly, attentive, professional. The fresh oysters were absolutely stunning, fresh and sweet. The mains were ok, we had the risotto and pasta, nothing to write home about but very big portions. The staff then surprised us with a birthday candle etc with dessert which was a nice touch.
