Camden Valley Inn on Remembrance Drive in Camden is spreading the holiday cheer with a calendar of activities offering families budget-friendly entertainment until Christmas and beyond. The December calendar features free activities and special offers designed to bring the community together, with free giveaways, activities and SNOW every day between 10 am and 11 am and 4 pm and 5 pm.
"We know families are looking for affordable ways to celebrate the festive season together. That's why we've created a comprehensive program of free and family-friendly events from November 18 and throughout December," said Kayla Seeney, Camden Valley Inn's General Manager.
Special events include a magical Breakfast with Santa, an enchanting Gingerbread House Workshop and the return of the popular outdoor movie night featuring 'The Grinch'. Families are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets to enjoy the movie under the stars, complete with fairy floss and popcorn available on the night.
"From our gingerbread house workshops to breakfast with Santa, we're creating magical moments for families to enjoy together. The ongoing Voucher Hunt adds an element of excitement throughout December, with great prizes to be won and this year we’re introducing the Christmas Cart offering CVI Christmas baubles, kids’ light-up Christmas trees, Butter Boy cookies and lollipops.
"In addition, we’re putting on a series of special events including our Twilight Christmas Markets on Thursday, November 28, with live music, 30 stall holders and free entry, a Christmas Wreath workshop on Wednesday, December 4 and Christmas Carols on December 12.
"Every Monday from 5 pm, kids eat free with any main meal purchase, making family dining more affordable during the festive season. On Tuesdays, patrons will have the chance to find one of three $50 CVI vouchers hidden around the venue, with clues going live on our Instagram story every Tuesday morning at 11.
"Thursdays you’ll receive a free hat with a jug of beer, or two hats if you buy a beer tower, while Fridays offer $12 cocktails and $16 pizzas during Happy Hour.
"We’ll also have the Country Christmas Birthday Wheel, with heaps of great prizes and special menu items like Christmas Mimosas, our Christmas Wreath Dessert Board and the Christmas Cocktail Tree to win,” Kayla says.
Live music remains a cornerstone of the Camden Valley Inn experience, with performances scheduled every weekend. Visitors can enjoy afternoon sessions from 2 pm-5 pm and evening performances from 7 pm-10 pm, creating the perfect backdrop for Christmas catch-ups featuring $12 cocktails and $16 pizzas.
