Let the evening be-gin at Bob’s Boutique Bar on Cathedral Avenue in Geraldton. Located at The Gerald Apartment Hotel, this bar and eatery is a must-visit for any avid foodie, or self-proclaimed gin, wine or spirit connoisseur – whether for afternoon drinks, mouth-watering Chef’s choice tapas or a night out to remember.
A curious bartender took a chance creating a plum-inspired cocktail unlike any other - the result is Mrs Plum, a fluffy, lilac concoction that tastes like a dream.
This cocktail was created by Harmony Williiamson, who at the time was a Mixologist, she has now moved on to become the Front of House Co-ordinator for the hotel, she still does the occasional celebrity night in Bob’s.
The cocktail's origin was in looking for a match to all the Plum Gins that are on the rise and Harmony was the one person who wanted to take up the challenge.
"I started with the flavour as my base and then mixed in premium products, the main idea was to make it fluffy and light.”
The name Mrs Plum is because she is always a taken lady and everyone wants to spend the rest of the night with her.
Definitely our cocktail of the week, as it’s a perfect drink to sip away on a cold Winter’s day.
