Launching tomorrow March 3, the latest release in the distillery’s Rare Cask Series – Mizumara Rare Cask – is crafted for the discerning whisky connoisseur. Made from 100% Tasmanian barley, this limited-edition single malt is matured in small casks and finished in rare Japanese Mizunara oak.
With Lark’s signature craftsmanship, a longer seven-day fermentation, a post-malt smoking process and hand-bottling precision, Mizunara Batch 2 presents as a luxurious fusion of Tasmanian purity and Japanese tradition.

Chinotto Citrus Cask:
This distinctive sun-kissed single malt dances with candied citrus, a balance of malt flavour fired up with a bittersweet edge, inspired by the pioneering spirit of Tasmania, where risk is the water. Finished in casks hand seasoned with vibrant chinotto citrus, expect candied citrus peels, vibrant cola and buttery malt notes developing towards soft orange custard with a dusting of cinnamon. 500mL RRP $200.
Tasmanian Peated:
A meeting of the pure Tasmanian environment and experimental character of its creators. Born from fire and fervour, Tasmanian Peated shows that where there’s smoke, there’s feeling.
This single malt whisky is signed by Master Blender Chris Thomson, representing his mark on the new world of whisky.
