Just in time for the festive season, Brown Brothers has released two limited edition Moscato and a Cienna wine to delight Christmas tastebuds.
Inspired by the taste of refreshing Summer fruit, the limited edition Strawberries & Cream and White Choc & Raspberry Ripple Moscato varieties are an excellent pairing for our warm and sunny climate – just like a fruit and ice cream bar but in a bottle!
Clean, fresh and balanced, expect a hint of sun-ripened strawberries and vanilla cream combined with Australia’s best-selling Moscato – light straw in colour with some youthful green tinges, this drop can be enjoyed chilled with a bowl of gelato, or for something different, pair it with Asian dishes such as Vietnamese rice paper rolls.
With aromatic notes of ripe raspberries and creamy white chocolate, the second limited edition Moscato is inspired by the layers of a raspberry ripple cake with a dash of decadent white chocolate and raspberry jam and these aromas flow through to the palate. Lusciously sweet and fruity, enjoy this wine while young and fresh, paired with your favourite cake, or why not try it with seafood dumplings and spicy dipping sauce?
The limited-edition Cienna combines Brown Brothers’ favourite fruity red wine with a hint of salted caramel delight for the perfect balance of savoury and sweet. Inspired by creamy caramel brittle, serve this light and fruity wine well chilled as the ideal partner for desserts and ice cream.
This wine boasts a rich and juicy profile with a prominent caramel flavour infusion, providing a truly distinctive pairing experience; try it with a spicy Chinese hot pot and enjoy how the sweetness of the wine eases the heat of chilli and spice.
As one of Australia’s first families of wine, Brown Brothers has been pioneering wine adventures since 1889. From the very first vintage to its ‘experimental’ kindergarten winery, Brown Brothers’ journey over four generations of family wine-making has been anything but dull.
With its Milawa heritage at the heart of the brand, the company has used its affinity for innovation and experimentation to drive the brand to where it is today. Establishing a reputation that challenges the status quo by developing new grape varieties and partnering with the CSIRO to support ongoing viticulture research.
Alongside its extensive wine offering, Brown Brothers Restaurant (13) in Milawa is Chef-hatted delivering a seasonal menu showcasing fresh produce from the kitchen garden paired with estate wines.
