With World Health Day approaching on Monday, April 7, there’s no better time than now to share healthy and nutritional recipes made with pure maple syrup.
Although maple syrup is usually associated with pancakes and waffles (recipes that aren’t typically known to be great health boosters!), maple syrup is surprisingly versatile and can be used to elevate healthier dishes too.
Pure maple syrup – like that from Maple from Canada - has more nutritional benefits than most would know! It is organic and sustainably sourced straight from the maple trees in Québec, Canada.
With very minimal processing, this pure magic gold is one of the most natural sweeteners available on shelves and is free from artificial colours, flavours and preservatives.
Here are four recipes for inspiration on Monday:

A wholesome, nutrient-packed meal that’s delicious and nourishing. This easy maple dahl recipe created by dietitian and nutritionist, Rebecca Gawthorne, is made from plant-based protein and immune-boosting spices such as turmeric and ginger. Served with naan, this healthy and filling dish is the perfect way to fuel your body.

A simple, yet delicious and healthy dish to snack on this World Health Day is this maple fruit salad. This recipe is packed to the brim with fibre and nutrient-dense fruits including strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and watermelon before pouring over a mix of fresh orange juice and pure maple syrup for a sweet taste.

A small and compact breaky is the maple yoghurt parfait, with the base of the recipe made with a mix of yoghurt, pure maple syrup and vanilla extract before layering with extra yoghurt, jam and granola. Decorate with fresh strawberries, blueberries and raspberries!

Detox with the spinach, kale and maple green smoothie for a refreshing, healthy and nutritional drink to treat yourself to this World Health Day. Blended with apples, kale, baby spinach, low-fat Greek yoghurt, rolled oats and of course pure maple syrup for a smooth finish.
