Future Art is set to shake up the art scene in Brisbane from September 14-16, with an explosive fusion of digital art and live music. The event promises to be an art and music party like no other, featuring the world's brightest digital artists, live music from top DJs and a multi-sensory and ultra-immersive experience that will change how contemporary art is experienced.
Debuting as a part of Qld Music Trails’ Brisbane Music Trail after a sold-out Vivid Sydney event, Future Art unveils new frontiers in digital art and showcases some of the most exciting works from the digital art boom. From motion, AI, generative and 3D art to interactive experiences and augmented reality, attendees can expect to see digital art in its many forms.
The night will be soundtracked by some of the best floor-filling DJs. Future Art will feature works from some of the world's leading digital artists making it a night to remember such as musician turned artist, Sydney-based Serwah Attafuah.
Serwah is a multidisciplinary artist who will be showcasing her surreal cyber dreamscape artworks filled with strong ancestral and contemporary themes. A rising star of the art world, Serwah has exhibited in various galleries across Australia and has been commissioned for clients such as Paris Hilton, Nike, Mercedes Benz, Charli XCX and more.
With 25 years of experience in generating creative audio-visual content for broadcast, digital, visual and cultural public events, Georgie Pinn designs interactive motion capture-driven animation content to ignite the event, merging the digital and the physical, the human and the avatar, the artist and the audience. The activation democratises a creative voice in the event space and nurtures new forms of creative expression.
