Created from fruit from Reillys dry grown estate vineyards in the Clare Valley, this full-bodied red delivers notes of blackcurrant, ripe raspberry, dark chocolate, mint and eucalyptus; along with well-integrated oak, firm tannins and a lingering palate.
The fruit was hand-picked at optimal ripeness, while traditional methods of fermentation for 10 days and hand-plunging extract maximum colour and flavour, before maturation in French oak for 24 months.

The name Reillys stems from a rich history dating back to 1856 when Irish shoemaker High Reilly settled in the SA township of Mintaro, building his home ‘Reillys Cottage’ from local slate.
This cottage is now the cellar door and restaurant where you can sample and buy a wide range of estate-grown wines and indulge in a gourmet lunch featuring the freshest local produce, as seen in dishes like braised beef cheek, juniper jus, pomme purée and pickled red cabbage.
